The X-Shot Advantage

Hi!  My name is Brady, the co-founder of X-Shot Archery.  Here is a little background on myself and how I became interested in helping you nail your X;).  I am an Optometrist by trade and for the past 8 years I have been VERY passionate about lenses, optics, and the latest lens technology.  It just so happens that I am also VERY passionate about archery.
As someone who has a doctorate degree in optics and ocular health, I have a deep understanding of how lens types, lens materials, & lens designs can be beneficial (or detrimental) to how well you see!  Not only do I understand the science behind the lenses, but I have real-world experience helping people to see their best.
This is advantageous in the archery world in that you spend thousands of dollars on your bow setup - you spend hours tinkering and tuning - you endlessly perfect your shot routine - your stance, your grip, your draw, your anchor, your breath... and then the shot.  It all leads to one moment that will dictate your destiny.  Whether it be a once-in-a-lifetime buck, or getting that last X to break the tie -  you put in the time, money & effort to succeed in that moment.  With all the things that can go wrong in that moment, with X-Shot Lenses you can be sure that clarity of the target will not be one of them.  With X-Shot Lenses you get the X-Shot Advantage which is founded on the following 4 pillars:
  1. Customer Service:  We put a great deal of effort into providing you with an amazing customer service experience with the goal of 100% satisfaction!  With fast shipping and even faster replies to your emailed questions, comments, or concerns, we can promise you will be well taken care of!
  2. Warranty:  We are so sure of the quality of our lenses that we offer a lifetime, unconditional, unlimited, no-questions-asked scratch warranty.  If you scratch it, send it back to us and we will send you a brand new lens at no cost to you!  Its as easy as that!  See our warranty page for more details.
  3. Clarity:  Our lenses are ultra-clear with oleophobic (repels oil), hydrophobic (repels water), anti-glare (reduces glare), and anti-scratch coatings.  This means that when shooting with X-Shot Lenses, you will have the utmost clarity!
  4. Quality:  An enormous amount of technology goes into each and every lens, so much that it is too much to cover here, but I will do my best to help you understand optics while avoiding the textbooks.  In short, there are 2 main aspects to a lens that contribute to its clarity - what material the lens is made out of, AND the shape of the front and back surface of the lens.
    • Lens Material:  All materials that allow light to pass through it have different properties.  Some materials are more effective at letting light pass through than others.  Take, for example a scenario where you put 2 lenses side-by-side that are identical in every way EXCEPT for the material that it is made of.  Now, imagine looking through each lens at a 3D archery target.  You will find that the 3D target will look different though each lens!  In what way will it look different?  I am glad you asked!  Depending on the material, it will cause the 3D target you see to vary in size, shape, color, brightness, and fuzziness!  So if you pick the wrong lens you could be seeing a sub-optimal target!  Here at X-Shot Archery, we have put our lenses through their paces in real-world scenarios with real world shooter - including target, 3D, and hunting.  During initial testing we have tried all of the lens materials out there and have found the PERFECT material to enhance your sight!  With great confidence we can say that our lenses will out-perform any one-piece lens on the market.  We are so sure of our product that if you are not 100% happy with the lens, we offer a 100% money-back return policy!
    • Lens Shape:  Above, we took an identical lens and changed the material that it is made out of.  For this example, lets use a similar set up, but instead the 2 lenses will be made of the SAME material and in the same power.  The only thing we will change will be how curved the front and back side of the lens is.  So for this example, imagine looking at that 3D target through 2 lenses made of the same material, both of which are a 6x.  What you find when looking through each lens, depending on what type of curvature is added to the front and/or back of the lens, it will cause variation in how accurate the 3D target you see through the lens looks compared to the actual shape of the 3D target.  X-Shot has again put our lenses through their paces extensive real-world testing.  We offer 2 types of lens shapes: Standard and Premium.  Both are fantastic, but the premium lens offers improved optics to provide an even more accurate image.
Thank you for your interest in our lenses.  We look forward to providing you with the X-Shot Advantage!
